I've been having similar problems with my Lombard since I started using wireless cards in the PC slot. I think it may be that the system is looking for a connection and hardware that is no longer there if I remove the card to bring the 'book to work. My other suspicion is that my hard disk may be going out (a year old 30G Travelstar). I have had to run DiskWarrior a number of times in the past few weeks after a year and a half of virtually zero problems. Wireless is the new aspect to the computer so it is suspicious to me. I don't have any answers yet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Jim Eddy James Eddy Woodworks [EMAIL PROTECTED] Princeton, NJ <http://home.earthlink.net/~giametti/index.htm> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
