The question I have is has anyone else experienced this memory cache issue

me?

This has happened to one at work, afaik, they've not done anything with it yet; but it was locking up with regularity. They were dithering over getting it fixed, upgrading it with a new processor (which would fix the problem, afaik, as the cache is on the processor daughtercard) or just retiring it.
