If this is an IDE drive it's easy.
You'll need an 2.5" -> 3.5"adapter.
In actual fact you need a laptop to standard IDE adapter. the 2.5" to 3.5" adapter only applies to hard disks. The CD-ROM end of a CD-ROM adapter is totally different.
Anyhoo just take the drive with you, you should be ok.
