Is there an easy/cheap way to use a powerbookdrive in my powermac? Do I need a special adaptercable or is there another way?

If this is an IDE drive it's easy.

You'll need an 2.5" -> 3.5"adapter.

In actual fact you need a laptop to standard IDE adapter. the 2.5" to 3.5" adapter only applies to hard disks. The CD-ROM end of a CD-ROM adapter is totally different.

Anyhoo just take the drive with you, you should be ok.
