I got my new TiBook and it's absolutely amazing. I ran Xbench on my old Pismo and on my new TiBook, and the Pismo scored 34, and the TiBook got a whopping 87! Talk about an upgrade!
Anyhow, I am seeing, or perhaps hearing is a better word, an odd phenomenon. The notebook has been making a very, very faint buzzing or crackling noise, and I can't figure out where it's coming from. And even more strangely, when I run Mac Help and run a search, it makes a very high frequency tone. I'm somewhat disturbed by this but it appears that none if this is affecting the Book's functionality. Has anyone else seen these problems before? I would think it's the hard drive but I'm not very sure of that diagnosis. Thanks, Peter -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
