I believe you have to disassemble the entire machine to get to where you can properly replace it. I put a copy of a PDF file of the Pismo repair manual in my public folder on my .Mac account and he was able to download it. Unfortunately, being of the senior persuasiion, I don't recall the password I supplied for access at the moment. If you can wait til this evening when I can be on my home machine I will find the email and send it along.
