Lombard 333mhz, running os 9.2.2. Trying to get my ipod to connect
through a pcmcia firewire port. Have tried two different cards; one off
ebay- generic and one is a belkin card. Both have showed up on the
desktop but don't see the ipod as being connected. The ipod is in disk
mode so doesn't need a powered bus card. I tried my externally powered
cdrw and that was not detected through the cards either. All the right
extensions are there for firewire support. Do I just need another brand
of card? The cardbus is working as it does see my wireless wavelan card.
 I'm really stumped.

Warmly, Ilene Fabisch, Brockton, MA
