Using my pismo to websurf and every time I try to view video links
requiring windows media player, it doesn't work. The frustrating part
is that they are on commonly used websites like espn, cnet, etc. I've
already checked out www.mactopia.com for the latest version of WMP for
OS X, but still doesn't improve compatibility. Am I the only one? Any
comments would be most appreciated.

It could be that the stuff you are trying to view is encoded with Windows Media Player 9, which the latest OS X viewer cannot, to my knowledge, decode as of yet.
