Un-plug it remove the battery, plug it back in and give it a shot, see 
if it will boot without the battery installed!  Wiggle the plug end that 
inserts in the book and make sure your getting good contact.  If it 
boots up and runss shut it down and then put the battery back in and try 
it again.
