does Jaguar considerably reduce battery life on a Pismo?

I finally upgraded my Pismo to Jaguar several weeks ago, and immediately 
noticed that the 2 hrs. or so that I could get out of my battery 
(especially if I really dimmed the screen and used a minimal extension 
set) in 9.2 had shrunken (is that a word??) to less than an hour with 
Jaguar, even when I selected maximum batter life configuration.  Has 
anyone else noted this problem, or was it just coincidence (the Pismo's 
about 2 years old now) and the result of the battery needing to be 
replaced?  A third alternative might be to blame it on the Red Sox -- 
all the other bad stuff around here seems their fault.
