I have a Lombard with both 9.2.2 and Mac OS X installed with more than enough memory and a more than adequate hard drive. What happens is that, in both systems, the screen begins to wave, then flicker slightly and then get suddenly get so bright that it is washed-out. Manually darkening the screen results in a dark washed-out look. Most colors become very faint pastels; black borders around icons mostly disappear. The situation never repairs itself unless I restart. Sleep mode has no effect. Any suggestions? Thanks.
