Greetings,
I have been using an Apple LaserWriter300 via a Keyspan Serial/USB converter with my Pismo (10.3.1)....It had been working well until early this week when I got the message "Scanner Motor Malfunction" while trying to print. It stopped completely and I then got the message that the job was unable to be completed. Does anyone have any idea what may be involved here? The printer has worked flawlessly the past 18 mos ..I only paid $25 for it at the Penn State Salvage shop and don't want to get a lot of $$$ into any repairs.

Sounds like a pita repair. Hope you got $25 worth of printing out of it...
