Finally got around to updating my Lombard to Panther. Went through almost the entire installation when suddenly the screen when nuts, went dark with jumping vertical and horizontal lines, never seen that before. When I forced a shut down and restart the computer had a kernel panic immediately. I've attempted three more times with almost the same exact results, (one time the screen just went black). I've already used the discs to install Panther on my iMac, so I'm reasonably sure it's not a bad disc problem. Anybody have ideas or suggestions?

Jacob
