When I go to my mother's in Indianapolis I have great
difficulty in logging on to this e-mail account on any of 6
local Earthlink access numbers (but not from my brother's
elsewhere in the city).
I get as far as "starting PPP" and then the attempt usually
fails with a response from Remote Access (I'm running OS 9.1)
that there was a problem on the remote side, check your
settings, etc. Even if I do manage to get connected it's often
"disconnected" after a few minutes. Earthlink has been clueless
in the past, and I doubt it's their fault anyway.
The settings are the same as at home.
