I don't have an AlBook, but I do have a tiBook, and it's WiFi is miserable. It would barely do 25 feet straight line of site with no obstructions between my kitchen table and dining room table. Forget going an even shorter distance through a sheet rock wall. tiBook WiFi is lame.

I've got a TiBook and the wireless is lame on it too. My WallStreet with the Orinoco WaveLan card in it worked much better.
