I am one of those original Ti-book owners with lousy wi-fi range, but almost all my problems were solved with proper placement of the base station. I did what I saw in the store: hung the base station on the ceiling dead center in the house. That allows reception in every corner of the place, even on this weak receiver. My wife can dance down the street with her old blueberry i-book, of course and leave me in the dust....
