I am considering buying a G4/450 (Sawtooth) with a DVD-RAM drive to replace my trusty B&W G3/350. I am not familiar with this format, but according to the research I have done so far, DVD-RAM is pretty much a dead issue, so am I correct in assuming that I can still use this drive to play regular DVD's and CD's, but the recording side will be pretty much useless?
Thanks!
