I've never used Virtual PC, but you could try doing some stuff that's way
out in left field like connect to 127.0.0.1 or connect to C:\ drive. The
chance of it working is pretty small but it's only 30 seconds to try so it
doesn't really hurt. Sorry I can't help more.
