Lombard 333 DVD Performance

I just got a PC DVD Card and a DVD/CD-RW drive for my Lombard 333, but 
the playback on DVDs like Fellowship of the Ring, Farscape, Shogun 
(miniseries), all have choppy playback, but all of them have choppy 
playback at the same points in the DVD. However, the first release of 
Stargate (the flipper) and Unbreakable work just fine without too many 
problems. To me this seems like a software problem (using 9.2.2), but I 
would like to know if other people have had this problem and what they 
may have done to solve it.
