Well... I had the lombard all packaged up ready to go into the technician I use when I checked my email and got the last digest... checked the power brick and low and behold, the power cord had come out about an 1/8", enough to disconnect, but not enough to be seen.... plugged it back in and waited a few minutes.... whewwww... what a great sound. Thank you all who answered... I owe you all one (or two).

I had a similar problem i took out the batter, unplugged it and took
out the PRAM battery over night and the next day it booted fine
