Considering as a possible upgrade to a Lombard. Price is decent!
Don't know about how well it would work in your Lombard, but this is what I'm currently using in my TiBook rev a 500 Mhz since I blew the original port. Works well for me with both an external HD and a Sony Camcorder for FW video/audio capture into FCP 3.
