Check my Earthlink filter (online, every 10 days or so) and there are
usually about 10 to 20 emails there to delete.

I get that much spam every ten or twenty minutes. And if I used an ISP-level spam filter, I'd miss a couple of important business emails daily. Doesn't work for everyone.

I try to be very careful about giving out my email address too casually,
using a throw-away email address at Mailinator (free) instead.
