A 500MHz FW PowerBook (Pismo) I'm working on has an annoying habit: when the display first comes on, whether at startup or awakening from sleep, the entire display is tinted bright pink/magenta. The tint mostly goes away in the first 5-10 seconds, leaving a faint pink cast. The color changes beginning at the lower corners, which return to natural colors almost immediately, then spread to the whole display. I believe I've read of Pismo displays that are pink/red in the corners, but this seems to be just the reverse. Does anyone know if this is correctable, or is the display a goner?

Thanks,
Andrew Main
