There are adapters specifically for this, but they cost more $$ than
needed. Cheaper would be to get an "inverter" of 200W or so for a few $$
and plug your existing power adapter into that.



Not necessarily. I bought my car adapter at <http://store.mcetech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=MTOS&Category_Code=ACCACAUTOADPT> and they cost $25. I also have an inverter but I prefer the dedicated adapter, it's more compact. I also use this adapter with a 12 battery pack so the compact feature is even more important.
