I want to purchase Applecare for my 700 mhz Ibook. It is my understanding
you have up to 1 year from purchase to get this, am I correct? Do you have
to go back to the original seller (in this case, Powermax, new factory
sealed unit).

I also heard about the extended warranty was not available in Florida due to
laws we have here. On Apple's website, they state that the laws apply only
to consumers, which is explained as anyone who uses the computer without
monetary gain.

Does anyone know how this all works in Florida?

Thanks for any input.

I believe in Florida that companies can get Apple Care but individuals cannot. I would go back to Powermax and see if they have an extended warranty program.
