No, I should have been more detailed in my post. The thing that surprised me was that I have had several different OEM combos in my Pismo and they all burned fine at up to 24x, their rated max speed. So I know the Pismo can do a lot more than 8x. Problem 2: the UJ-810B is supposed to read DVD-RW, but I can't mount the DVD-RW I burn with either the 810B or the Pioneer 107 in our G4. Any tips?
