Sorry to be late catching up on digests here.  Looks to me like AOL is the
best choice.  Recent tests on software that you can buy for the Mac,
including Apple's Mail, show that none of them are 100% effective.  Some bad
stuff WILL get through to the original poster's 85 year old mother.
