A: In my experience, OSX doesn't like the card to be put in while operating--despite the fact that the hardware was designed that way. Also, make sure you turn it off up in the corner icon before you pull it out.


I don't know what your driver is but if you installed the driver, make sure that It supports 10.2 and then, prior to putting the card in, go into system preferences and do what you need to do to get the driver configured. You should see an icon in the preferences window for the driver. Shut the computer down and reboot with the card in.
