Hi are you sure that the drive is a super drive as my Lombard has a combo drive in it and the drive type also reads
CDRW/DVD-R
BUT mine is just a combo drive and i thought that the dvd-r stood for dvd reader.
my drive is a Samsung. but i have not tried to burn any dvd,s or even used dvd media discs just the cdrw's
