Dropped Pismo still works!!!

Thanks to Laurent and Malcolm for your responses. A VERY big thank-you to 
Darrin, who suggested reseating the CPU card. As I read it I remembered that 
I had this problem when I installed the new hard drive. A few minutes of 
panic then while I thought I had really screwed it up because nothing seemed 
to work.

So I crossed my fingers, opened up the Pismo and gave it a try. What a 
relief! Once again this list has saved the day. And again I am amazed at my 
laptop. At least 2 owners, I use it almost every day and it just keeps on 
ticking! I used to be frustrated at any little scratch or ding. Now I just 
see it for the workhorse it is.

Again, thanks Darrin. I am one very happy camper.
