Several weeks ago I bought my 2nd Li-Ion battery, a 4500mAh, for my
Wallstreet 'cuz the oomph in my original wasn't what it used to be - about
an hour (not bad for a 5 year old battery IMO).

Just last week the battery duo stopped charging. 1st symptom was the time
remaining indicator always read "Calculating" whether a/c connected or not
though percent charged would display at 74%.

I booted from OS 10.2.8 down to OS9 and nuked 'em with Battery Reset.
Result - 2 uncharged batteries that wouldn't charge when both were in the
bays at the same time. I then tried to just charge the old one and it
worked. Time remaining with ac unplugged indicates 2:45!

However, my new battery won't charge. I was thinking power mgmt unit until
the old one charged but maybe the requirement for a 4500mAh is just too much
for my 5 year old power board. Maybe I've got a bad battery. I'm not sure
what to do next.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. Steve Kerney
