I have an old (5-6 year) PC monitor that I would like to use with my Powerbook as a "second desktop" (mainly for Virtual PC).

The only port on the Powerbook is a DVI, and the PC monitor has a different connector on it (I don't know what it is called, but it's the normal PC monitor connector which has been popular for some time).

Is there a way to use these together, or do I need to get a new monitor?

DVI to VGA adatpters are common and cheap. they work well...I'm using one to run a second monitor off of my Radeon's DVI port on my desktop.
