I own an AL PowerBook. I researched both the iBook and ALBook. I went 
with the PowerBook 15" and feel this was a better decision. I would 
advise the PowerBook.

I would also strongly advise the AppleCare Program. It isn't cheap but 
it has already paid for itself with me--twice!
