Obviously they didn't disable the program too much, everything so far except
networking and sound are just fine, and networking is fine if I connect to
ethernet, just not over wireless.  This is strange because in Windows 98 or
Windows 2000, the VPC doesn't care if I use wireless or wired ethernet to
connect to the internet, it just works.
