After an internal surgery in my Wallstreet PB (250 MHz, Serie I), the PB is apparently dead. When I press cmd-shift-fn-power, the green light switches on and the fan starts spinning forever; this only stops when I press the key combination again.
I searched the net, and the symptoms seem to be quite common. However, the reasons for this behaviour are apparently far from clear: some say it is the logic board, other say it is the processor and some say that all was okay after letting the PB alone for a while. Has anybody on the list a more definite answer? Is there still hope for my Wallstreet?
Many thanks in advance,

This might seem like a silly question but why would you ever push that particular keyboard combination?
