Don't know what to tell you. I've been running Firefox as my main browser since it was still called Firebird.
I haven't been able to install Firefox successfully on my mac. No problemo on my work PC. This has been a common theme on several lists. I gave up because I've been swamped with work. There has been a discussion on the OS X list and I bet there's some advice on the list's archive.
If you figure it out, lemme know!
