abks larry, The possibility has crossed my mind but... I have had this machine apart 3 times. First time, I attempted to upgrade the pitiful 10gb to a [EMAIL PROTECTED] Although I installed a system on it, it wouln't boot and with working cd drive, I had to remove it. I guess I should have test it before putting back together. the last time was the "new" combo. I have to say with all the research I Have done on this issue, and finding none, I am really DISSAPOINTED, with APPLE's quality of products. if you go to the mac osx forums, will discover hundreds of complaints about these devices. APPLE has never admitted to any responsibility for these problems. I was just hoping somene had managed to get it fixed somehow. still hoping......... I am comtemplating going 'DELL"
