I've just rediscovered some games and was wondering if someone knew of
a good joystick to use with a Powerbook.

These are relatively simple old games and my interest in video games
pretty much peaked with Joust and Tetris, so I don't need anything too
fancy, but using the keyboard for games just isn't the same.

Bluetooth? USB? Firewire?

I will give you a USB Macally iStick joystick that works with OS8.5 to
9.? I can't find an OSX driver, and I don't use OS9 anymore on my
desktop.

For any USB input device that you can't find a driver for use USB Overdrive.
There is a version for 8.5-9.x and one for X. It can be found at
versiontracker.com.

I'm not associated with the writer just a satisfied user.

Thanks I tried it and it works. The 20 dollar shareware is more than the stick is worth but I don't mind the nag screen.
