So, following the thread, should we also be worried about the plastic in our mice? or the formaldehyde used in processing new clothing, pesticides use to grow our crops, lead in the water, and I could go on and on.
There is a point where 'caution' goes to paranoia. I know that this thread originally started out as a serious question but this is just getting ridiculous. Life in the early 21st century is fraught with all types of dangers and I think the LEAST of our worries should be getting a micro-dose of aluminum from the surface of a laptop computer. Worry about a terrorist blowing up your local mall instead and see a psychiatrist for God's sake.
Can we please end this silliness? Can we please kill this thread?

Thread is extremely silly, for more reasons than one! However . . .

AlBooks are anodized and not bare aluminum, thus contact with their
surface doesn't expose a user to bare aluminum at all.

Exterminate all rational thought.
