I did this once to my WS, but have forgotten where I found the info. There was a website somewhere that gave step-by-step instructions on how to install memory in these G3 laptops. Anyone know where I can find this info? I googled but didn't see it.

I need to install some ram in a pismo and don't remember how you get the keyboard to pop-up.

Up in the function keys there's two slightly ridged sliders in the 'spaces' in the f-key lineup.

Pull back on those to unclip the keyboard from the top, flip it over and lay it keys-down on the palm rest. CAREFULLY, since the keyboard cable is attached to the motherboard near the bottom of the keyboard, and it's easy to rip that little cable.

Then you should be able to see the cover on the processor and RAM slots.

This is in the Pismo user manual at Apple...in the section on adding ram.
