I own a 933Mhz G4 14" iBook which I bought back in May 2004. Over time, bright spots started appearing on the LCD. Nothing that obstructs the function of the lappy, but it is quite distracting. I am aware that this problem is common among Power books, but haven't heard anything about it appearing in ibooks. While the ibook is still under warranty, and I've purchased applecare, I don't really want to part with my iBook for a week. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or is this an issue that only Apple Techs can handle?

Simon
