I'm looking for a new network printer since my wife's PC laptop won't work with the Powerprint print server.
I need a network printer that will work with her XP laptop and my Lombard through the Linksys wireless router.
Since I'm a glutton for punishment I'm looking at an all-in-one printer/scanner/fax so i can replace three simple machines with one complicated one...
Anyway I've found a HP printer that seems like it might work:
HP Photosmart PSC 2610 <http://tinyurl.com/4dnfz> or
<http://www.shopping.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpdirect/shopping/scripts/home/store_access.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0848460537.1105494570@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccckadddihglgdkcfngcfkmdflldfgg.0&product_code=Q5542A%23ABA&template_type=product_detail>
But I'm not sure it will work with my Lombard 400 (OS9.2.2).
HP claims to support OS9.2.2 but they want you to sent $10 for a CD which doesn't seem like an auspicious start.
Is anyone using one of these with a Mac?
The review sites mention problems on the Windows side but no mention of Mac problems. I'm not sure I'm reassured by this.
