I am thinking of buying a brand new iBook when it comes with

If I connect an external TFT screen, not as mirror but expanded

on that screen ?

On my iBook I can only do mirroring, at 1024x768 or less. This is a current model 14" iBook.

Thats correct. I just bought the new ibook. The oinly thing is that you need a min. of 10.3.5 OS to boot. That means that Norton & Disk Warrior won't boot because they have OSX 10.3.2.
