If I can isolate a salient point perhaps hidden in this excerpt. I really don't want to hijack the thread, but this is a issue that very few G3 PowerBook owners seem to know. I was told when I first purchased my Wallstreet (was it in the owner's manual??) to always unplug the power cord from the PB first, then unplug the AC adapter from the wall.
I don't know when, or if, this has changed concerning the subsequent PowerBooks. Maybe Kyle can pitch in and let us know.
