It is not straightforward. There's an installer that worked ok, then said there were errors and to check the log. Well, if there's a log file it's well hidden. :-( It was not written to the console log or system log.
Still, I've not had any problems running a multitude of other Java apps (including Swing apps, which this uses), I'll dig into it and see what I can find out. It's entirely possible it's some sort of path error or something like that.
It may simply be a matter of tracking down which .jar file to run to start it up.
