I found that QIF stands for Quicken Interchange Format. In calling my credit union, I was told that Quicken changed its format about a year ago, and now Quicken products are the only ones that DO NOT use QIF. My credit union suggested I use Money by Microsoft, but it's only for Windows. MYOB's site mentions QIF compatibility, with possible tweaking required.
I want to go back to January 2004, download my statements, sort them out in some software, then transfer it to a tax preparation software. What do you guys suggest?
Claire
