IOXperts looks like your best choice at the moment. <http://www.ioxperts.com/devices_80211b.html> One advantage with their drivers is that you can use the same unlock code for the OS X driver if you want to go that route in the near future (i.e. you don't have to pay additional for the OS X driver). BTW you shouldn't have any problem using it at public hotspots. Wireless is wireless (other than the speed and distance differences between 11b and 11g).
