As I just wrote in a note to somebody else inquiring about external HD's, I would definitely go with LaCie one. I have not been able to find one under 160 gig locally though. Thinking I might end up going with the 250 gig instead.
Anyway, I already have a LaCie 80 gig External Firewire HD and it's been fantastic for the past two years. Absolutely no failure and completely reliable.
