It will trim or truncate your mp3 without re-encoding. You might
find it best to re-encode your phone-intended tunes at a lower
bitrate to reduce the file size as well.
And convert them to mono.

i'd like to edit mp3 audio files for use on my mobile phone -
they're just too big
i'd like to cut them down to just 60 seconds rather than the full length
do anyone know how to do this on the cheap?
i heard that itunes has an edit function - if so how do i go about it?
