Can anybody help? I've got a 667 TiBook that will not play a cd/dvd and usually won't show it on the hard drive. I've put 2 different dvd/cd drives and a combo drive and they might recognize a music cd a few times and then nothing. System profiler won't even recognize the drive is there. The other problem is that it will not operate unplugged. It was not recognizing a battery was even in. Today I had it open replacing the back-up battery when I noticed the battery connection was loose and tightened it. Now it will see the battery but still will not run with a good, charged battery in it. A new backup battery and big battery has changed nothing but my bank balance. Any advice would be deeply appreciated.
Jerry
