Personally, with a 15" AlBook, I'd go straight to 1.5 or 2GB. RAM isn't that expensive these days, a 1GB PC2700 SODIMM shouldn't
cost any more than US$250.

*Private* purchase and I am working to a budget...

In the next two days I'm buying:

- PowerBook 15"
- DVD±RW external FW/USB
- Ext. FW/USB2 400GB harddisk
- Wifi accesspoint
- 17" TFT screen
- Bits and pieces for my 8 disks in a Sawtooth (see G-list)
- Canon EOS-D digitial SLR camera

- and maybe a Mac mini (head vs. the heart)

One can always add RAM later...
